Let it go...like a bird

It's kind of funny

I don't think I have ever thought about drawing

a bird before

but today that's all I wanted to do.

Andi is goofing around,

"Oh mama, don't go,

I like laying around

on my back and chillin' with you!"

Her baby skin

and big blue eyes

melt me...

oh, and her toes.

It never ceases to amaze and delight me

that something finds me

just when I am ready to receive it.

My feelings of bliss are returning.

I really think I actually closed up,

closed up my heart,

trapping the hurt and confusion in,

locking out the Light.

I'm turning on

my

flow

 again.

Sometimes I forget how to live.

Hello, an Apology, and Some Cake

I know I haven't been around as much. 

For that I am sorry, and

 I thank you for being patient with me.

 I have missed you...I have gotten a bit

out of balance...but I am trying.

On a very happy note, 

my Granddaughter, Andi was Baptized today.

Hard to believe she is already 4 months old!

Godmother Sarah, Godfather (my son Drew), Daddy, Mama Michelle

It was a perfect day today,

filled with family, friends, lots of love

and of course, sweet baby Andi.

Me "Nani", Daddy Kevin, Mama Michelle, & Michael "Pops"

My husband, Michael, and I 

made the party cake.

 Andi's first cake!

It made me very happy to create this for her.
