I had an unexpected special moment this evening. I was walking Ellie down to end of our little road, and while I usually do see deer (a mommy doe and her fawns),
today's sighting was extraordinary.
Doe was visiting with summer's red fox! I was awestruck. Pure beauty.
I am so sentimental about our little reunion today.

I have not seen foxes around here much lately.
I remember pulling into my drive a few years back and there sitting in the middle was a red tailed fox. Such joy in seeing it.
I have only had a few moments like this but the definitely take your breath away! Talk about witnessing the glory of God!
How wonderful, I would loved to have been there too.
