Carving a Stamp

Rainy Saturdays are good days to avoid excess housework...
and carve a simple branch instead.

Happiness is...

this.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Beautiful leaf, Kathy. What did you carve it out of?
We finally have sun in Vancouver, and all the spring flowers are in bloom.
Hope you get sun soon.

Way cool! Looks so neat, I gotta try that again someday - with the softer stuff to carve on. I ended up so cut up when I tried carving the linoleum block!

For years I have said I was going to carve a stamp to create a Christmas card. It has yet to happen. Your stamps always remind me of this so one day hopefully I'll actually take the plunge.

How cool is that! Would like to try this someday, I used to be a prolific handmade journals maker, but now my photos and my blog is consuming almost all my free time
