Yesterday evening, I took a "Texture Walk"
around my yard
It then turned into a "Color Walk"
because I have surprise orange poppies this year
...aaah....love....
Then, it led to this journal page.

All of the colors I find in nature are most definitely what inspire me most... I love those poppies too! I think I am going to have to plant some of those in my own yard next year. :) And I love the iron that you photographed, and incorporated that pattern in your journal page, it's gorgeous! Love the pop of green and orange together too. ♥
What a delightful walk around your garden! It's lovely to see the summer colour (as we are in the depths of rainy winter) and fun to see how the textures and colours turned up in your page. I love the use of the positive and negative aspects of the mesh-type stencil and mask.
