Eating soup and eating better
Staying warm
with hot ginger-lemon tea
and a quilt.
The winds are howling and the
temps are dropping
but I am inside
with my journal
books
magazines
and a candle for atmosphere.
Have I mentioned how much
I dislike
winter?

It sounds like you've found a great way to handle winter with your quilt, tea, good book and your journals....Happy New Year
This year I am trying to embrace Winter like I never have before. I am trying even though I am cold and practically "non-functioning" in these grey dreary days. I am changing my thinking from "dreary to cheery"!!! You are surrounded by wonderful Creative Bliss and Hugs My Friend...
Yeh winter is best for staying in & looking out :-) xx
I hope that you have enjoyed your break....and now well rested for the long haul!!!
Oh friend, I wish you the sunniest lemons and the warmest fireside and angels guarding your electricity...may the power stay on! Keep the fire in your belly burning bright:)
love and warm hugs,
Jen
January and February are my least favourite months of the year.... our winters in the UK are not hard like yours but still I find grey skies and cold a bit of a struggle.
Sounds like you are very cosy today :)
Happy New Year to you and yours
