Journaling keeps me {fairly} sane.
I have had anxiety lately, so I
worked and played much of it out this morning,
like I love to do. It's in me. I gotta get it out!
I set my handmade mask down (above) and sprayed my favorite
Dylusions Inks in Fresh Lime and Crushed Grape.
Below, the mask is shown, on the right page:
Stamped the date and found washi tape
that did what I needed it to do at the top:
My mind needed my heart, though
so I punched one out ♥ and inked it purple & grungy
with a Staz On pad:
And without preconceived words,
took my favorite Sharpie black pen...
...and released.
And I can honestly say
I feel better.
Find something you love.
Just do it.

I totally agree and appreciate your honesty, your process and showing how art helps us. Blessings to you!
Eeekk! I love this! I love the use of that mask/silhouette. It leaves a perfect place to write everything out. I am so glad that art can be such a FANTASTIC release for all the yuckiness we face. :) xxoo
Beautiful you...I think being able to paint/write it helps us to see more clearly, and releases it to the One who can make sense out of our pain or confusion.
While this is a beautiful, it's also so much more.
Grace, peace and love to you dear Kathy!
Stunning page Kathy... love how you journaled inside the silhouette... and love that you are doing what makes you happy...
