Summer of Color 5: Week Six

1 orange + 1 orange + 1 blue
This was a challenge because orange is not a fave color to work with, but it's good to stretch ones' self!

Thank you for summer fun and for visiting my little corner!

Yours in this and in art journaling,
Kathy

Be

Watercolor collage in my art journal.

Writing finally, on a collage I did a ways back. Words don't always come at the same time as the art.

Thank you for your flu get-well wishes. I have labeled these looong days: The Ten Days of No Dinner Plate.

While I am grateful for ginger tea, Saltines, toast, and rice, I hope to be without them SOON! When I get my first bite of something yummy, you'll all probably know it!! Ha

Joy to you this new week!
Love, kath

Summer of Color 5: Week Four

1 Red + 1 Red + 1 Metallic

I enjoyed all of the entries of art this week as I recuperate from the flu. Feeling VERY unglam, I went for red lipstick in silver cases and gorgeous red hair in my collage! Fun! Thanks for visiting, k

Summer of Color 5: Week Three

1 purple + 1 purple + 1 yellow
Working with these two opposites truly was a good challenge.

I believe this is my summer of Faces & Flowers!
I'm on vacation and happy!

Week 2 of Summer of Color 5

1 pink + 1 pink + 1 orange:

I have always felt a connection with the red fox. It was the first animal I saw after my Dad passed, and many live near me now. Sometimes on the way to work, one will pop out of the brush, and it looks at me. I feel it's message... I have always thought about sketching one, so with Kristin's color challenge this week, it seemed like the perfect time.
