Violets and purples...{sigh}. I was particularly excited last night when I took the final dog-walk of the evening, and lil Ellie and I saw this lavender sky. We ran back to the house for the camera! (Shame on me for not having it with me all the time!! hahaha. I'm learning!).

you've captured two flowers that have such a hold on my childhood...the iris and the bachelor button...that with one look and i'm right back there picking them for my mom, with stems just long enough to fit my tiny hand...and not long enough for a vase.
I took Sarah for a walk today, and swore I needed to start carrying my camera with me! There are so many pretty things blooming right now. Lovely sunset!
