Journal Page

...on thoughts, and their power.

I am currently reading The Power is Within You,
by Louise L. Hay.
It was recommended to me by a bloggy friend.
I like it. It makes me think.
It's not all new to me, but
it's a good refresher and it's definitely uplifting.
I do love the idea of putting positive thoughts out
into the universe.
Maybe they cancel out negative ones!

It's good to have some time to play with paper. Gosh, I do love paper. Holding it, tearing it, reading it, writing on it, drawing on it, stamping it...it feels so wonderful. Thank goodness we're all different, huh?!

Thanks for stopping in. Hope you are all having a good week.  Tomorrow (Thursday) is Michael's first follow-up app't. with the doctor/surgeon.  If all is going well, I think he'll get the hard plaster cast. No weight on it for at least 2 more weeks, but...it could be worse, right?

I hope all is well with Michael today.

Your page is very thought provoking - (pun intended haha) - I am a huge believer in positive thinking and overcoming negativity by good thoughts and kindnesses.

Send out those thoughts - it will only do good.

Oh Kathy, I loved this post! I think I needed to feel a little empowerment from a friend today, so thank you! :)

I am glad you have found time to play with paper... I wonder if I should get my paints out, it's been a long time...

Positive attitudes are the BEST! Sending positive thoughts is awesome, I agree. Great journal page!
You love paper and I love fabric. Reminds me of the poem that goes something like... you like coffee, I like tea...
I do love my coffee - it makes me a total morning person, I go to bed thinking I can hardly wait to get up and savor that first cup of coffee!
Have a wonderful positive week Kathy!

Oh Good! (reading on did help ;) GLAD to hear that everything is going well thus far!!
I LOVE your journaling - and am so happy that you got a chance to play with paper - I'm with you - and am always in a better mood when I'm done!
THANK YOU too for your sweet message about Kendra - she's (ready for this one?) going to be a scary vampire / zombie thing. We normally hang out with boys her age on Halloween, and I know she wants to dress like them. I have some pictures of her "school girl vampire" costume from the elementary event this weekend, If you have Face book, come find me (Kristin Van Valkenburgh)!
Have good luck and fun with all your kids! xoxo
