Journaling and Sketching

After writing all around this journal page,
I just felt it wasn't finished.

I sketched my peaceful bamboo plant
over the top
as a focal
and it feels right
now.

Thank you for visiting
and
for your thoughts and prayers for my Mom.

Today is the day she again will be discharged from the hospital
and strengthen in a better rehabilitation facility
from complications suffered since early December.

I have to remind myself to breathe.
I am really trying hard.
I trust that things will go smoothly now.

Kathy, Thank you for sharing. Today I need inner peace and your post has brought comfort. I like the addition of the bamboo plant drawing, like layers of peace and hope of growth. Blessings to you and your Mom too!

Your pages are so welcoming. The bamboo really adds that calm that inner peace requires. Healing prayers for your mom continue. Breathing and journaling...trust my friend. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...

Kathy, this is stunning. I should have your little package in the mail this weekend. A little later than I wanted, but getting there ;-)

I absolutely love this page!!! Being a caregiver for a parent can be very exhausting emotionally and physically...I am glad that you have art journaling to help maintain a bit of balance and for a place to put what is in your head and on your heart so you don't get too overwhelmed internally. I am going to revamp my blog so that I can include my art journey since I took down paper dreams..it was too hard keeping up with two blogs.
