As the Sun Sets this Evening

I couldn't resist a little walk after work this evening. But it was so beautiful everywhere, I soon ran for my camera.  I just had to show you how lovely the hibiscus look in the sunset....just in case you need a breath of fresh air today, too.

I didn't edit these at all, because I love the memory of how the September shadows fall just before 7 PM.
Hope you enjoy these. Everything's better when shared.

Have a good night.

Warm Orange

And here is what I think is yet one more little miracle of nature.
Remember my yellow hibiscus?
Well, it is a tropical plant but it won't give up,
even out in the frosts we've had!
AND, it turned ORANGE!

A storm front is moving in, any minute now, blowing cooling rain on us all, but who cares?
We have warm orange!

Happy Flowering and Fawn-filled Friday!!

Look what the deer didn't eat!!

Yeah, you, I see you.

Through my window up here.

Full yet?

"Uh oh. I think she's watchin' us."

"What are you lookin' at? My Mom said I could."

Well, they are pretty little spotted fawns...and they didn't eat everything...!

Mid July and my tropical hibiscus is blooming despite the cool weather we have had most of this month. Isn't it lovely? It's what I'll think about in the winter!

I have so many ideas for you and for PaperPumpkin.etsy! Stay tuned for the fun!

Thanks! ~Kathy
