Paper Play and April Thoughts

This unfinished spread above, was inspired by these
beautiful cactus flowers below.

I have no idea what they are,
but the color
(even in this poor quality photo ~sorry~)
is exquisite.

And, are you wondering, too, where April is going so quickly?
It's mid-April already...
the month that sometimes looked like winter,
sometimes like Spring,
and sometimes even like summer
a few days ago.

I walked Ellie to the dead-end
hoping to see red fox
or a bunny
or a deer
or even a duck
but
instead found the need to carry a camera
next time
because
~the buds are springing out everywhere
and I just have to take some pretty
blossom photos to use
later...

ah, April leads to beautiful May, too!

So much to look forward to!

Wishing you a weekend
of
contentment.

Kathy,
This is so beautiful, I love the colours.
How did you paint it?
All the best,
Vicki

Beautiful. May is my favourite month when all is bright and clean and in perfect clarity of spring freshness...sublime. April for us is full of showers, sunny periods, north winds, south winds, hail, rain....as you say - all seasons in one month. Hopefully tomorrow is sunny and a walk on the cliffs above the sea...

April must be the most unsettled month of all!
Your post reminds me of the old saying, "April showers bring May flowers."
The cactus is beautiful, as is your art page!
Have a happy weekend!

I love your started page! The colors are so soft and sweet and I love the strip of table running across the middle. Beautiful inspiration photo too, xoxo
