Sharpie Doodling & Drawing in Journal

Just me with some Pressure Relief through my Sharpie Pens...
I really should draw more. I LOVE it. I loved drawing the keyhole.

May your weekend be all that you need...

Thank you a hundred times over for your thoughts, prayers, understanding,
and for just taking the time to visit, read, and leave a comment.
It means the world.

I love the journaling part of your art journal...I need to incorporate this part into my art journal...the more personal part of me. I like how you wrote that you are trying to figure out what you are supposed to learn from this experience....I hope your headaches go away.

These pages are wonderful and I can tell they were good 'therapy' for you. Prayers continue as well as general good thoughts being sent in your direction. I hope you're feeling better each day and yes-I also hope your headaches go away! Happy weekend.

It is frustrating to not know the why behind something...and sometimes the things that happen in our lives just plain suck! And sometimes we don't know the reasons behind or the "lesson" to be learned till way down the road, and then sometimes we may never know. But it's always good to give voice to our frustrations and questions...to not bury them...as Jen said...life happening even in the pain.

Your journal spread is a beautiful example of the benefits of keeping a visual journal Kathy.

Praying the headaches go away..I know how wearying they are. Hoping your body pain is diminishing as well.

Much love to you!

It's good that you can work out some of your frustration and anxiety on your journal pages. I know how incredibly frustrating it can be (I had an on the job accident while I was pregnant.) I hope that you can calm your stress and anxiety through art and daily healing. Moment by moment. Hugs.

oh Kathy, i'm so sorry to hear of your accident, but so relieved that it was not more serious! I read your past posts... omg... you must be SO thankful that one of your students wasn't standing by your side when it happened. Yes, i'd say you are lucky, despite the bad luck. :-)
Your journal pages are fantastic. i looked at so many close up. Just beautiful. And i love your writing too. So nice to finally have time to visit here. i'll be back. Take your time getting back to 'normalcy'. Sending warm hugs your way... xox

You are having such a difficult time right now. I am sending positivity and love across the pond. You are certainly not a stick person - you are a wonderful, creative, caring lady....and I love your doodles - particularly the key hole - what can you see through that keyhole?

Love your journal page! I do some journalling too, but need to change what I am doing, as my pens are not working smoothly on the paint and put on the page....and then the writing part becomes too hard. I will work to figure that out. I am so glad you didn't get a concussion, I have been struggling to heal from one I received over 7 months ago. Make sure you take all the time you need to heal.... and keep on creating it is beautiful.

I love what you've done with your pages - that keyhole is beautiful and would make a stunning rubber stamp!
I love the striped tape (Washi?) - it works so well and brings it all together. Really lovely.

Well...let's hope that working it out in art is the answer...because that's what I think you're doing. And, may I add, Beautifully. Please remember that what we think about and focus on becomes our reality. At least in my gentle opinion. It's harder to focus on good health and mobility when your body has gone through the trauma...so please try to focus on the things you're doing that are working right for you.
