Hope

Our small piece of Hurricane Sandy
almost like the peaceful eye of the treacherous storm now.

There is always hope.

Schools are closed today in western NY
(which rarely happens, even with waist-high snow)
and the rain & winds raged all night.

But even with it pouring rain right now, in these photos this morning,
the sun came out for a few minutes!
Unbelieveable...
reminding me of the miracles and of Hope.
Always.

I have power and I look at the TV news coverage
of the hurricane damage and fear and flooding
in NYC
and other east coast cities and towns and shorelines
and I send prayers.
Frightening powerful storms
need our extra prayers sent out.

Be safe.

These double-rainbow photos are untouched
as my computer goes slowly
and my photo editor won't work at all.

But I wanted to give you a double rainbow
in case you needed one today.

Love,
kath

Hi Kathy, I'm glad you made it through the storm,
the rainbow is gorgeous, and very appropriate that it it's a 'double' . . . after what you've been through!

Yes, HOPE and LOVE is what everyone needs now. I believe that sending some LOVE to Sandy will make her loose her energy and dissipates. I do this even from afar. Hope you and family will continually be safe and warm. Thanks so much for the gorgeous rainbow!. Hugs.

Yes, rainbows always make me feel positive and full of hope.

We watched the news coverage here in the UK - very scary images. Glad you are safe.
