Free... Journaling

This page took on a life of its own
and was actually quite freeing for me.

I started with gesso and acrylic paints,
and scraped squares...
which made me think of boxes and being boxed in,
and cages...
and then, in the paint, I saw a flying bird!

Look what happens when I free my mind.

I did this just after meditating.

Peace,
~k

and how expressive it is of the peace and quiet of your mind. It is fluid, calm and beautiful in its colors of the ocean...

It is the best to paint what painting is wanting, and hand, not mind.
This is wonderful painting, I love the backround and the bird, which flied to with.

Oh Kathy, this is so beautiful! I love the bird flying away from the cage, leaving behind only that feather. Such beautiful colours too.

beautiful background and hues.... I love the gesso style texture....and this is the perfect example of how meditation makes our art natural and opens us to listen through the art rather than just create....as you did miss missy!
