Unfolding :: journaling

The first week of a new school year is over.
We have been getting to know one another,
learning about rules of respect
and what we like,
even diving into math and assessing reading levels...

...and it was good.

I feel differently.
This year already has the unfolding of light in it.

And I am different.

Being in the present
has a real meaning for me.

I am finding my truth
in being in the present.

It brings with it
gratitude
in what is,

instead of anxiety of what might come next.

I just want to sit with you in this,
dear wise friend
....it encourages me deeply,
your gentle walk with you live
out in bold color and strong truth
and brave beauty.
It's beautiful, really.
Thank you for sharing
the beauty that is you,
Jennifer

Kathy I can feel you embracing this year as never before. How blissful to be in the moment and enjoy. I am embracing the ending of Summer (my favorite season) and looking forward to Autumn. I want to be in the moment and enjoy too! Hugs Dear...

I am so happy Kathy... I need to find that place in the present. As a good Capricorn, I am very much etched in the past... or worrying about the future.
