When I woke up this morning

it was still well below freezing

but the sky was brilliant blue

without a single cloud

and the sun shone so

brightly

on the knee-high snow

that 

I almost 

liked

winter

again...!

Yes, I keep summer in my heart.

I love to feel the sunshine

on my skin...

Silence :: Journaling

Sometimes all I need is Silence.

It frees up my mind

allowing me to open to the light.

When I am still,

I can turn off the world's chaos

and feel the sense of order

that is really in the universe, and the love.

Andi has already grown!

She is 2 weeks old

and is filling out her newborn sized sleepers!

Oh, I love her so much

swells 

and tears well up in my eyes.

I had my annual Triple Birthday Party Luau yesterday...

The heat & humidity finally broke,

so the luau weather was perfect

instead of stifling. yea!
