I still find myself smiling
a lot !

Here's why!

it's just me knocking...

Usually, I'm very decisive...
This one time, however,
I find myself just in the doorway.

Let go. Let it go. Journaling.

After doing my very very best
at work all week,
I am letting it go.

Let it go like a butterfly.

Having fish fries with my Mom!
Sabres hockey tonight,
a weekend of fall fun...
maybe a few papers to grade...
but fun.

Hope you enjoy your weekend, too.

One Light :: Journaling

Layers of acrylic paint,
my candlelit photo,
stamping daisies, stamping words and thoughts....

I may write later...
not sure.

Hope you are enjoying this Friday!

Summer of Color :: Week #5!

This week's colors:
Candy Apple Red and Yellow!

My head is filled with poppies blooming in the sunshine.

Here, they look a bit off-color...hmmmm...
what's up with looking chartreuse and orange??

But, on the bright side, I managed to fix our computer !

Technology may not be my middle name,
but the other night, I rocked it.

Wishing you skies of glory
and better than silver

Layers. Colors. Text. Release.

Gesso, acrylic paints, paint-stamped feathers

Sharpie Fine Point for hand drawn vines

White Sharpie Paint Marker for Background
Text. Black Sharpie Fine Point pen for text vines.

Gray  Momento Dual Marker text edges.
Molotow Paint Marker in Sahara Beige for over text.

I held everything inside all week,
and I think it all poured out in
 layers this morning.

I may even add smaller written thoughts, in a deeper color,
over top...

It feels good to pour my thoughts out onto pages.
A clearing of the mind!

Carving a Stamp

Rainy Saturdays are good days to avoid excess housework...
and carve a simple branch instead.

Happiness is...

this.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Beginning Some Journal Pages

...collage beginnings, before doodling, scribbling, and writing any words.

I'll probably add more details to this one.I used some new tapes {love} and a new stamp that has lots of good stuff all together (bottom).
