Are You Kidding?

Did I hear the weatherman correctly? Will I see snowflakes tonight? Or tomorrow morning? Already? Isn't October supposed to be sweatshirt weather and sun-on-golden-leaves weather?

I am crossing my WNY cold fingers & toes in hopes that this is a prank and we really will have autumn...not winter...not yet. Please.

This photo was taken 3 years ago in October. Do you remember the now infamous "October Surprise" storm that cut off power for days and weeks here? This was taken from my upstairs window the morning after it hit.

Enjoy your fall everyone! ~Kathy

I have never seen show like that! I bet that was bad. It's still 80 degrees here. Still summer. No autumn for us--ever. I miss the beautiful autumn leaves I used to see as a child in GA.

I'm not ready for winter yet either, it seems like summer came late, was over all too soon, and now that fall is here, winter has been teasing us for days!

*sigh* I have hope though.

We might still get some nice days before it really gets cold out...

Here's my Follow-Up to that weather prediction: I woke up at 5:15 a.m. Friday morning, for work, and peeked out that same upstairs window....to...tiny little snowflakes falling in a flurry. Not bad, and didn't stick! :) Whew! ♥K
