This year was marked by such a staggering number of student attendance problems, that just not having constant make-up work to redo with them will be an immeasureable relief to me. My multi-tasking capabilities took on a new dimension that I hope I never have to duplicate (to survive in the classroom). I much prefer to creatively teach in a new way each day, according to every child's needs, not hampered by the repetition of 5, whose parents choose not to have them show up (There. I'm done ranting). And, splattering paint and inks felt great!
And, because I am enjoying participating in Kristin's Summer of Color...which is celebrating green this week, with a bonus challenge to include citron (!), this journaling page plays along!
I wasn't totally sure of citron, so when I Googled it, I got this (below) from homesweetbyhand.com/2010/03/subjective-color/ .
I am a lemon and lime lover, so this was right up my alley. Mmmmmmm. yummy colors! {I love green}.
Have a great week everyone, and thanks for visiting me. I do appreciate you.♥

I was a teacher too (12 years) so I totally understand! So I also know how fabulous art is for a release. :) Love your journal page!!
Oooh I feel your frustration I really do. But it makes for a great journal page!
I love polka dots; I noticed the 5 was missing ;D Sorry to hear that; I volunteered and did art in my daughter's classroom. I wasn't happy how the teacher isolated 2 students. Art is about expression, not why did you do this or that...augh~
Great page; love the free feeling and splashes of citron! Well Done~
I like the artsy simplicity of this journal page. Very nice! Yay citron - lol! You have a lovely way of expressing yourself. Good luck to you! Hugs, Jessi xox
