Most of the time when I walk in the door, from work,
I don't go straight to my PaperPumpkin Room,
grab my journal, and get started.
Immediately.
Today, however, after a 10-hour teaching day
with 8 minutes for a snack and 22 minutes to eat lunch,
followed by an hour long meeting,
after a crazy day with "issues",
my mind needed, NEEDED my journal,
my space,
my release,
and I only thought of circles.
My busy thoughts were spinning in circles.
My views on changes in education
always go back to cycles.
So, I stamped circles inside of circles, inside of a circle...
and then just felt compelled
to write in a spiraling circle
and
it straightened out my cluttered head
and led me, unexpectedly, to a focal point
of realization.
