Summer of Color 2: Week 5 Wild 'N Reckless

"Wild 'N Reckless" (sherbet below)
made me think of the "organized chaos"
that frequents my thoughts and my piles at home.

So, that inspired crazy inks for the background,
used with stencils I love,
and some washi tapes.

Then, I used a favorite contemplative face stamp
with Staz-On black ink.

Here's a close-up of the Chaotic writing:

I had to share with you my Passion Plant, below, too!

Have a wonderful day!
And thanks again to Kristin from Twinkle, Twinkle
for the Ice Cream Inspiration~
See many more here.

Oh Kathy... your page is stunning... I love that your beautiful stencil became the hair of your lovely lady... and I love that you then wrote within it... just gorgeous... and your Passion Plant is divine...

Am I right, that you have used spray inks for your background? Mine was actually made using distress inkpads and cut'n'dry as I haven't even tried my spray inks yet (too scared!!) You have lovely stencil work for the chaotic wording to follow and the doodling is great too. Never seen any Washi tape in real life and am getting more and more curious. Reminds me of the time I didn't know what Vellum was so just ordered some on-line to find out - LOL - BJ

Kathy, your words were so true. As a Capricorn I too am very realistic about everything, my hubby says I am a pessimist ;-) I feel I am going through the struggle you last year, you love what you do but everything else is too much

I love your inks, I've never tried that before but I'm loving the effect. I also like how you added the tangle to create the negative space of the cloud. I have a lot of mental chaos, but I don't think I can call mine "controlled"! Beautiful piece!
