Nature's Inspiration

Graphite pencil sketch

I took a long walk this morning.

I'm trying to be better about getting regular exercise,
and to breathe more fresh air,
now that Spring has promised to come.

I had a lot of work to do inside today,
but I did love that power walk
with my sweet Ellie pup
and the incredible beauty in Nature
during my favorite part of the day: morning.

I think it's amazing that Nature surprises,
every single day,
no matter how busy or how old we get!

Hope you had a great weekend, friends!
Cheers to a brand new week!

Lovely crocus drawing. I so understand not being able to fit everything in that you'd like to do. Life is a little impossible isn't it. : ) (I am a little envious that you have crocuses...boo hoo)

I love Spring, unfortunately it means staying inside in Georgia...the pollen is so heavy and constant for at least three weeks that I cannot use my porch! Just being outside one get's covered!

I wanna be at the beach!!!!

So enjoy seeing your lovely pages!

xoxo

Oh, and you already know that the crocus is one of my favorite spring bulbs, since it's the first to come up each spring. Yay for Crocus! Spring is coming, Spring is coming!! :)

Sweet drawing! I'm hoping to get outside more too. It would be a definite lift in spirits. It just needs to warm up a bit and stop snowing! Love this simple and sweet look.

Your pages feel with peace and the joy of nature. I LOVE taking walks too and I agree they always surprise us with love, even when you walk that lane every day :). Your graphite sketch is wonderful. Indeed spring is here :). HUGS.
