A Sketch...and Summer of Color3 Week #4!

Kristin's Summer of Color SOC3 is already into week #4!

This week's color combination is
Charcoal Gray and Pink.

I have been wanting to practice drawing, drawing, drawing
and sketching faces.
Here, I wanted to try my hand at sketching a face at an angle,
for interest and a change.

I took a piece of pretty pink background paper, and my pencils...
and here is what's going on so far.

I say "so far" because I may do more with it,
such as glue it in my art journal... write on it,
add to itYou know...

Have a creative day!

How nice to see how the subtle pink lines on the paper echo the beauty of the lines of the woman. Simply gorgeous SoC entry.

What a great take on these colors, the paper is perfect for a pencil sketch. Angled faces are always so tricky - great job!

How very clever and smart of you to use pink for the paper and charcoal grey for the pencil to draw you lovely angled face. Your drawing skills are wonderful. I have always loved grey and pink together in clothing and accessories. Creative Bliss Dear...

What pretty face you've made. I like the idea of the pink paper and pencil for this weeks SOC. She turned out great and I like the angle too. Now I want some pink paper to draw on too!! Would love to see more faces, you draw them well.

Happy SOC and thanks for stopping by my blog.
