Fading Summer Pages

I do love this time of year when the remains of summer are still here but fall has settled in with pink skies and golden sunshine. You can sit outside without melting...or freezing.

The flowers of summer are fading, but still pretty.

The hydrangeas (below) are still changing glorious colors...and can you see Ellie in the window, waiting for me? ♥

I enjoyed such a nice weekend, spending bits of time with lots of people I love.

I've been having loads of fun with paint and collage and lots of stenciling.

I feel a burst of tape coming on again soon, though!

Beautiful photos, it sounds as though you had a wonderful weekend. It is a lovely time of the year isn't it when the last of summer can still be felt but without the searing heat and humidity. It is so lovely to be able to see you welcoming autumn as I am enjoying spring.

Such a lovely home
and sweet Ellie waiting:)
Yes, summer is lingering
here but without the harsh
mood she can take.
Just gentle and golden
and sweetness.
Happy week to you, friend.

Unfortunately, our heat and humidity are sticking around for awhile, but I can sit in the air conditioned comfort of my office and appreciate the gorgeous photos on your blog. Sorry to read about your car. They can be so frustrating at times.

Your journal pages are beautiful. I've been afraid to paint my journal pages because I worried they might clog good ink pens. I really enjoy those two pages you made, though, and even enlarged and read the sentiment. Really lovely.
