Sept 4th and 5th Journal Pages and Flea Mkt Find

I love that the journal pages are different sizes every now and then!

♥Planning a wedding with one's daughter makes a mom's mind wander and become nostalgic.
As I wrote on the left side of the journal page, I have been thinking a lot lately about my daughter and my son ~when they were born, when they were babies, and now as adults.
I specifically remember when they were both still very young, that I said, "I don't want them to grow up and be bigger than me! I wonder what they will look like, think like, act like, become..."

Now I see them as young adults with minds of their own...and I love them even more...and still think they are the cutest.
Life is wonderful that way.

This little paper book was so sweet and old that I couldn't resist, especially for 60 cents.

And don't you just love the vintage keyhole? It's a treasure.

I will think of something wonderful to use it for.

Your journal pages look amazing. Is that a hand carved stamp on the right?
How nice for you to be planning a wedding with your daughter. I often look at my children (aged just 8 and 9) and try to imagine them as adults ......

You can tell there's so much heart in your journal pages......it's hard to give them roots and wings, isn't it?

Lovely post. Thanks for this.
We don't have flea markets over here. No-one's interested in buying them. Funny how different cultures place value on different things, eh?

All the best, Boonie
