Antique Dresses, Not Halloween Costumes!

These are from our summer day•cation to Canadaigua Lake.
I LOVED the inside of the Sonneberg Mansion with the original dresses of "the Mrs." displayed. I felt such a connection with time...that I was standing, looking at her clothes that she wore over 130 years ago. And, oh, the details: buttons, lace, layers. Beautiful. I love the oldtime wardrobes. Hope you enjoy these too.

Can you imagine having cloths that people wanted to save for 100 years?

"And these are Frosty's jeans and t-shirt. Sometimes she used them to clean her apartment."

The cloths are great.

Thanks for sharing.

These clothes are beautiful treasures and I love how they are on display for all to enjoy. I am a sentimental gal. Enjoy your weekend...

I like them a lot, although I didn’t see any that would fit me.
Thanks for a really interesting post.

All the best, Boonie
